I then decided to draw out a octopus that i found an image of just to get a basic idea of the anatomy of the creature as it is the most common thing that comes to mind when someone says the word tentacles. I then took one of my ideas that I took inspiration from Dead Space 2 and decided to do a rough sketch as you can see in the image below.
I then did another rough sketch of the actual creature itself to give a view of what it looks like and how it works, I then finalized my idea and put it in color using a range of colors with a mix of bright and dark colors and some visually unappealing colors as it is not a beautiful creature.
