Muscles

In this assignment we where tasked to draw the muscle anatomy of humans and then to put them all of them together to show a full human form in muscle view.

I started by sketching down the main muscles of the body such as like the pecks, triceps and abs etc. and then moved on to the more lesser known muscles such as trapezius.

I felt that the torso section of the body has the more visible muscle so i decided to practice drawing muscles together  on the front of the torso.

I then finished up by putting all of the muscles together for a front and back view.

If I was to do this again i would clean up the final by adding color maybe put it into photoshop to make the muscles more prominent to make them more visually appealing and also easily identifiable.

life drawing

Perspective drawing

in this assignment we where tasked with drawing a 1 point perspective drawing of a city landscape, this is another method used in the industry to help draw environments. the next step i would add to this would be to render this and work more on the shading to help create depth.

Robot

in this assignment we where tasked to draw a robot. my inspiration for the robot ranged from a animalistic design to a steampunk design in the end i decided for a small little police bot i took inspiration from bright 2d retro style games i.e. Broforce and super time force. if i was to do it again i would work on the colouring either take more time on the rendering or finalize the design on Photoshop.

turret

with this load of assignments we first told to design the turret to get us familiar with the basics of creating polygons in Maya. the second lesson was more on creating detail on the turret a more look into the extrusion tool, edge loop and duplicate tools to make a more impressive looking object then we looked into baking textures into the object which helps if you have a a high poly object.

Skeleton warriors

in this homework assignment we had to draw the human skeleton labeling specific bones, i started drawing the skull as this was the part of the skeleton i was most familiar with and then the ribs or thorax. i then drew the other parts of the skeleton i used shading to help differentiate between them and to give extra depth.

i then put all of the pieces together to create the skeleton i then highlighted the different parts in different colors and labeled them. if i was to do this assignment again i would add more detail too the skeleton and there was smaller bones i missed in the final piece.

human proportions

in this assignment we where taught about human proportions. we where tasked to design a dwarf and an elf sticking to the rule that a dwarf is the size of 4.5 heads in scale and the elf was 9.5 heads in scale but the dwarfs heads would be wider than the elves.
