in this assignment we where tasked in drawing an insectoid creature ( a mix of an insect and human creature ) i took inspiration originally from a beetle to a mosquito after making a load of rough sketches of different designs i decided to make my creature a brute looking character either a boss or side boss character slow but hard hitting being really tall and wide with heavy armor like skin. but during the final concept i decided i did not like the mosquito design which hindered the final design as it was not well grounded if i was to do this assignment again i would focus more on the pre production so that my final piece doesnt look like it come out of nowhere.
